Can I apply for a loan from GoCredit.me if I have less-than-perfect credit?

Yes, less than perfect credit will not prevent you from qualifying for a loan from GoCredit.me. Even if you have been turned down by other lenders, GoCredit.me may be able to assist you in obtaining a credit option that fits your needs.

Please have the following ready when applying for a loan in-store and online:

Proof-of-income may include a government benefits award letter with a recent bank statement displaying proof of direct deposits within the last 30 days.

We know you’ll be thrilled with our savings and installment loans. And we’ll give you $50 for every friend, family member or co-worker you refer to GoCredit.me. We’ll even give your friend $25 when they get approved for a loan. Restrictions may apply.

  1. Copy the customized link in the customer portal and share it with your friends!
  2. They apply for a loan using your portal link or by providing your name or Referral ID number.
  3. If approved, you will receive up to $50 and they will get up to $25 credit towards their new loan.*

*Restrictions may apply. Referring customer name or ID number must be presented at time of new loan origination in order to be eligible. Checks may be issued instead of cash. Offer is subject to termination at any time.

GoCredit.me online applicants will receive an email notification when approved; In-store applicants will receive approval immediately in most cases.

GoCredit.me uses email and text communications to keep you informed of your loan approval, payment reminders, promotions, events and more. It’s very important that you receive all email communication from GoCredit.me concerning your account.

What is a Credit Builder Loan?

A GoCredit.me credit builder loan is an installment loan that is paid back through a series of payments, helping you build your credit history. While making payments, the customer savings component will grow with interest. This component will remain secure until you finish your payments, then that money will be transferred to you within 15 days.

The amount you’re approved for is based on information you provide in your GoCredit.me application. 

There are also state-mandated loan amount limits. Please visit your State page to view loan Rates & Terms.

When you complete your application before 1:30pm CST with all required documents, underwriting approval and signatures, you are eligible to receive your cash the same day. Restrictions may apply.

You can take advantage of the following repayment options:

 

  • Installment Payments: You may pay back your loan principal plus accrued fees through a number of scheduled payments made over the loan term.
  • Full Payment: You may pay back your loan in full at any time without any prepayment charges. 
  • Early or Partial Payment: You may make an early or partial principal payment on your loan at any time with no prepayment penalties.

How do I change my GoCredit.me password?

To update your GoCredit.me password, follow these steps:

If you currently have an active loan with GoCredit.me, please call 888-599-5077.

Please be prepared to fax, text, or email a copy or photo of a voided check or bank statement from your new bank account. Also, if you are submitting a voided check, please do not submit starter checks, as we do not accept these as valid proof of bank information.

What if I forgot my GoCredit.me password?

How do I provide payment information to the GoCredit.me Customer Support Department?

Please call 888-599-5077 to speak with a representative. Do not email or fax any credit card or bank information to our Customer Support Department. 

You must contact us immediately to set up payment arrangements. If your debit is returned unpaid from the bank for any reason, we will initiate recovery procedures immediately.
